Blue Door is an intimate cocktail bar and social lounge coming to the vibrant South End area in late summer of 2024. Brought to you by the team behind Trio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SUPPORT BARTENDERS: Assist bartenders with stocking, restocking, and organizing bar supplies and ingredients, ensuring they have everything needed to craft exceptional cocktails.

GUEST ASSISTANCE: Provide water service and distribute menus promptly, ensuring guests have everything they need for a great experience.

CLEANLINESS: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, cleaning spills, and removing trash regularly.

PREPARATION: Assist in prepping cocktail batches, ingredients, and garnishes to maintain consistency and efficiency during service.

STOCKING: Refill ice bins, liquor bottles, and other bar supplies throughout the shift, ensuring the bar is always fully stocked.

HOSPITALITY: Offer exceptional hospitality and guest service, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.

INCLUSIVITY: Ensure all guests are treated with the same high level of respect and hospitality, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.

TEAM COLLABORATION: Be a great team member by assisting all positions in the bar, including bartenders and servers, to ensure smooth operations.

MENU KNOWLEDGE: Maintain a thorough understanding of our drink menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE: Previous bar back experience in a fast paced craft cocktail bar or similar environment is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE: Proficient knowledge of mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and ingredients.

SKILLS: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.

ORGANIZATION: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure every all batch and ingredient recipes are followed precisely.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Willingness to participating in education and seminars to continually increase their knowledge and skills.

FLEXIBILITY: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

CERTIFICATION: Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and hold any necessary certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe).
